      Heya Nettyra,

      Blood is red becuase of hemoglobin that is present in the red blood cells!

      Hamoglobin is the molecule that carries oxyegn around our bodies. I’ve read that in your body at any one time there are about 35 trillion of these tiny, round, flat disc-shaped red blood cells! And because there are so many of them, it makes blood look red!
