      Hi tommolloy95 and lewiswilson80

Unfortunately I cannot explain it precisely, as I am sworn to secrecy! I can however tell you that it involved the differences between the structure of certain internal organs of people from different races. You may not find it easy to believe, but the genetic information between various human races can be quite different, particularly in response to the drugs and chemicals we use. People from different races are at vastly different risk of diseases, and similarly the drugs we use to treat them can have very different effects – some will barely work, and others may even be toxic in the regular dose of drug.

The thing I found in the book wasn’t at all new, and it wasn’t even my work – but it hadn’t previously been considered for the experiments we were doing. For that reason, it caused some great controversy, because the entire study design was at risk because of this small thing which had not been considered.

In science, however, this might be fairly common.. We do know a lot – and the science we know now is very big, and it grows rapidly every single day!! But despite that, there is still a billion times more things we do not have any ideas about though. It is very hard to be able to read and understand everything there is that humans have discovered, especially on very small details in biological systems that are very poorly understood.

I hope this helps, I’m sorry I cannot go into more detail! If you need any other answers please ask!

      Daz
