Apart from science and research, I am interested in sports especially football and keeping fit. I do play football every sunday evening and same time a die hard supporter of gunners. Because of link between science and nature I have interest in exploring nature, like going on forest tour, mountain climbing . I once made an insect box during my parasitology professional course. I collected more than 100 different insects.

      Hi Dan,

I enjoy many things, especially music, I like video games, TV and films, I play and organise football games at my university. I like hanging out with friends and going out too. PhD life can be very busy though, so you have to make time to follow up the things you’re interested in!

I like going to the cinema with my husband, he normally picks the movies but they are pretty good mostly!
I also love to travel and have been to many places around the world (partly helped by funding to go to science things in other countries!).

      Hi Dan,

I have so many interests! But I’ve had to reduce the time I spend on them because of this silly PhD but as soon as it’s over I’m all over them again. I love reading, tv, cinema, photography, seeing my friends, zumba dancing, girlie-nights in, mountain biking, hill walking, the gym, going home to Ireland, walking my dog, spending time with my family, travelling, horse riding, sun bathing (impossible where I live now), snorkelling and surfing! So yeah, a lot! Once I finish my PhD (and earn a bit of money) I plan to travel to South America, New Zealand, Australia and Asia where I’ll hopefully be able to partake in most of my interest again!

Hiya I’m interested in all sorts, I love reading, keeping fit – I’m addicted to step aerobics!, travelling I have been all over the world, before my PhD after the first dergree I funded myself on a trip through Asia and through Australia. I also make a real effort to see my friends many I have made through science. Doing a PhD really is tough at times so you get some really good friends.

      Thanks for the question πŸ™‚
