• Question: is everything a part of our imagination or real

      hmmmmm…..an interesting question! What do you think?
      I believe that “everything” is real but your brain has to process it so it is how you percieve that real worlds and therefore your “imagination” may have something to do with it.
      I don’t really know. I reason I say I think things are real is because all the different people see them similarily and that probably wouldn’t happen if we were imagining it. Or maybe you are suggesting I am not real and this is all part of your imagination!?!?!?! Interesting idea but I really hope I am real 🙂

      Hi massey

      Good chat earlier. Well, everything we sense is probably real, in the sense that we do not know any other reality! Then again, that’s a dangerous thing to assume. There are many medical cases of people who have lost limbs of their body and yet can still ‘feel’ movement.

      Also, people who are blind and possibly deaf may still ‘sense’ something. These things are not really real, since they do not exist, but they are sensed. So, there might be a difference between imagination and real, in that imagination is definitely not real, or fake. However, there might be a third category – sensed.

      So somethings which are real, are not sensed but are real and are not imagined (for example if you are deaf, the sound exists but you have no perception of it) and similarly, some things which do not exist can be sensed, and are not really true (like sensation of movement in a damaged or missing limb).

      Crazy but excellent question!! I hope this helps answer it

      I like your “We do not know any other reality bit”. This is the sort of thing I would say too…but I don’t really like thinking about it, because I know the more I think about it, the more information about cows and badgers will fall out of my head!!

      I think that this life is about as real as it’s going to get for us right now! But i do wonder sometimes if this is a very long, complicated and extended dream………you’d imagine I wouldn’t be so tired all the time if it was 😀
