      Hi Dan,
From my knowledge of response to stimuli (irritability) plants can’t feel pain but can respond to stimuli by changing direction. One of the reasons is that they don’t have a brain. So I was wondering if the same held true for jellyfish. Jellyfish do not have sense of pain but have sensitive nerves which can detect and respond to changes in their environment and they respond by moving faster or changing direction or defend off by stinging.

      Hope this helps.

      Johnson.
