• Question: Do you visit schools and talk about what you do?

      Hi bluma75

      No, I have not done this (yet!). The closest to schools that I have been, other than this competition, was to help a class of students who visited my university through the so-called Outreach scheme.

      I have often been asked how I would use the money if I won this competition and I would use it to support that scheme, Outreach, which at the moment allows classes of students from schools to visit university and to do real science in a real university science lab. As I say, I have helped during these visits, and its a fantastic experience to teach the children some real science.
